![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Anyways, I hadnt even considered a roll bar for my titan until I just saw a neighbor of mine with his rolled over GMC was actually flattened to the bottom of the window openings. I had always loved the look of a roll bar on a truck and had one save my life one time many many years ago as a teenager when the truck my buddy was driving rolled over at the Clear Creek offroad area just south of here near Coalinga CA.it was winter ( can only ride/4 wheel out there in the winter because of the asbestos in the soil kicked up in dust when dry ) and the wet clay mud gave us instant bined with a steep ridge with drop offs on both sides and teenage stupidity.you get the picture. Thanks for all the help.love this forum.Has anybody mounted a Roll bar ( Or in todays political climate " Sport bar " ) on their Titan ? I did a search through the forums and didnt find anything on the subject. I'd like to keep the same head unit, dont want to worry about stereos getting ripped out. Also, I read somewhere that there is a wiring harness in the rear for the stock subwoofer. If I understand correctly, some people remove the tweeters on the 6x9's? Is that correct? And others use "component" speakers in the door. Not sure as to why (hopefully someone can enlighten me)Ī few other questions I have are, if you put the 6x9's in the door, does the OEM speaker cover need to be removed, or modified in any way, or does it fit as it was. What exactly does this accomplish? More base? Better treble? Or just better sound in general.? I did some searching here, and it seems some are swapping out 6x9's in the door with good results. It seems to be loud enough for me, but I hear mostly midrange, little treble and "0" bass. I test drove a '07 stock, and the sound was not the greatest. My FJ is to arrive this week, it is a bone stock '08 brick. ![]()
